Founding Member Terms & Payment Authorization

These Founding Member Terms supplement the general LGA Terms and Conditions. By requesting a Founding Membership and checking the acceptance box presented during enrollment, you agree to both agreements.
1. Limited Founding Membership
The LGA Founding Member Program is limited to the first 100 customers who successfully qualify for and complete Founding Membership enrollment under LGA's procedures.
No more than 100 numbered Founding Memberships will be issued.
Each Founding Member will receive an individually numbered Founding Member designation from 1 through 100.
Once all 100 memberships have been allocated, enrollment will close unless LGA is filling a membership that was never completed, was cancelled before activation, or was otherwise invalid.
2. $150 Founding Membership Fee
The Founding Membership fee is a one-time charge of $150.
Your card will NOT be charged when you initially reserve your Founding Membership.
The $150 Founding Membership fee will be charged only when the LGA website and grading service officially go live and LGA begins accepting customer submissions, as further described in the checkout disclosure.
LGA will provide any advance notice of the charge required by applicable law or payment-network rules.
3. Stored Payment Method
To reserve a Founding Membership, you authorize LGA and its authorized payment processor to securely retain a payment credential/token associated with the payment method you provide for the future $150 Founding Membership charge.
LGA does not directly store full credit-card numbers, CVV/security codes, or other prohibited authentication data on its own website or servers. Payment credentials are stored by LGA's PCI-compliant payment processor and represented to LGA by a secure token or equivalent payment reference.
By accepting these Founding Member Terms, you authorize the payment processor to maintain the payment credential necessary to process the authorized future charge.
4. Authorization for Future $150 Charge
By accepting these Terms, you expressly authorize LGA to charge the payment method associated with your Founding Membership $150 when the LGA service officially launches, subject to the disclosures provided at enrollment.
This authorization applies only to the Founding Membership charge described here and does not authorize unrelated charges.
If the payment method cannot successfully be charged when payment becomes due, LGA may contact you and provide an opportunity to update your payment method. If payment is not successfully completed within the stated cure period, LGA may release the Founding Membership position to another customer.
5. No Charge Before Launch
Submitting your card information and reserving a Founding Membership does not constitute an immediate $150 charge.
LGA will not intentionally collect the $150 Founding Membership fee before the launch condition disclosed above has occurred.
If LGA elects not to launch the Founding Member Program, no Founding Membership fee will be charged.
6. Lifetime 10% Founding Member Discount
Once the $150 Founding Membership fee has been successfully paid and the membership activated, the Founding Member will receive: 10% off eligible LGA grading-service orders for life.
"Lifetime" means for so long as LGA continues operating the applicable grading business and the Founding Member's account remains active and in good standing.
The discount:
- applies to eligible LGA grading/service fees;
- does not apply to taxes, shipping, insurance, third-party charges, or other excluded charges unless LGA expressly states otherwise;
- may not ordinarily be combined with another discount or promotion unless LGA permits it;
- has no cash value; and
- is associated with the original Founding Member and is non-transferable unless LGA expressly approves otherwise in writing.
7. Numbered Founding Member Badge
Each activated Founding Member will receive a unique numbered Founding Member badge/designation reflecting their place among the original 100 members. For example: FOUNDING MEMBER No. 001 of 100.
The Founding Member number is intended to remain associated with that Founding Member.
Founding Member numbers have no guaranteed monetary or resale value.
8. First-Order Elite Upgrade
Each activated Founding Member receives an additional one-time launch benefit: Elite service at Standard service pricing for ALL eligible items included in the Founding Member's first qualifying order.
This means that, for the Founding Member's first qualifying submission order, each eligible item submitted under this benefit receives the features and service level associated with the Elite package, while the customer pays the applicable Standard package price for that item.
This benefit applies to all eligible items on that single first order, not merely one item.
Applicable shipping, insurance, taxes, oversize charges, custom-case charges, special handling, and other charges outside the underlying grading package remain payable unless expressly waived by LGA.
The benefit is: One order. One time. All eligible items on that order.
After that first qualifying order, the Founding Member's lifetime 10% discount continues to apply to eligible future orders.
9. Service Eligibility and Extraordinary Items
The first-order Elite-at-Standard benefit applies only to items that LGA can service within its published or accepted grading and encapsulation program.
Extremely large, unusual, custom, or otherwise exceptional items requiring custom fabrication or services may require additional charges or a custom quote.
LGA will disclose applicable additional charges before proceeding where required.
10. Membership Activation
A reservation becomes an activated Founding Membership after the applicable launch condition occurs and the $150 Founding Membership fee has been successfully processed.
Submitting a payment method alone does not constitute payment of the membership fee.
11. Cancellation Before Charge
Until the $150 charge has been processed, a prospective Founding Member may cancel the reservation according to the cancellation method disclosed by LGA.
If a reservation is cancelled before the charge occurs, the Founding Member position may be released to another customer and the former reservation holder will have no continuing claim to the number, discount, or Founding Member benefits.
12. Refunds After Activation
Once the $150 Founding Membership fee has been charged and membership benefits have been activated, the Founding Membership fee is non-refundable except where required by law.
13. Abuse and Fraud
LGA may terminate or suspend Founding Member benefits in cases of fraud, chargeback abuse, account manipulation, unauthorized transfer or resale of membership benefits, misuse of LGA certification systems, or other material violation of LGA's Terms.
LGA will not terminate a legitimate lifetime membership merely to avoid honoring the promised discount.
14. Program Changes
Because the 10% lifetime discount, numbered Founding Member status, and first-order Elite-at-Standard benefit are material inducements for payment of the $150 Founding Membership fee, LGA will not arbitrarily revoke those earned benefits after activation.
LGA may make reasonable administrative changes to the program that do not materially eliminate the core benefits promised at enrollment.
15. Relationship to General Terms
These Founding Member Terms supplement LGA's general Terms and Conditions.
If there is a conflict concerning the specific Founding Member benefits or Founding Member payment authorization, these Founding Member Terms control with respect to that subject.
